Our world needs a revival, that is, a time when God pours out His Holy Spirit and there is an unusual amount of people turning to the Lord Jesus Christ, in one place, or many places, all about the same time. This cannot be brought about by man, or done on a schedule. Only God can do the work of Revival, as He did in the Great Awakening in America in the early 1700s.
But, we can pray. History shows that there were many times of prayer just before revivals came about, like in the NYC revival of 1857-1858. For an audio presentation on this event given at the 2016 Family Conference by David Scott, click NYC .
So, will you join me? Personally, I’ve decided to set aside Noon on Tuesdays to pray for the revival of my own soul, for my own growth in love & knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the very needed outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit into hearts around the world, to change the world we live in to become one that “Seeks first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.” Matthew 6:33 (NJKV)
Noon on Tuesdays—around the world. My vision is for Christian women around the world, covering the globe, including every possible time zone, pray so that for a 24 hour time period someone in the world is praying for this kind of revival. Give it an hour, give it a few minutes; include it in giving thanks for your meal or during your devotional time; as long as it is fervent, sincere prayer to our Heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
And……in tracking prayer around the globe, if you would like a “pin” added to your location on the MAP, use the form on the map page to leave a private comment on your location; others will not see it.
Please do not make this a “yoke” or a burden, but with zeal let us Christian women as sojourners in a foreign land, storm the gates of heaven as we can, as often as we can, for a renewal of true Christian, Bible-believing, God-honoring prayer and life.
