Staying in God’s word is essential, so today I’m just going to touch on some places in Acts, leaving you to read them, where the Holy Spirit renewed hearts and converted in numbers:
Acts 2, of course, has Pentecost .
The end of Acts 2:47, we have “The Lord added to them day by day those that were being saved.” ULB-EN
Acts 8, we see Philip preaching in Samaria, with many heeding the things he spoke (preached).
Acts 10, we have Cornelius’ household.
Acts 11:21 “…a great number believed and turned to the Lord.”ULB-EN
Acts 14:1 In Iconium, “…and many people were added to the Lord”. ULB-EN
Acts 16, Lydia & the Philippian Jailer’s household.
Acts 17 at Thessalonica “Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, including the devout Greeks, many of the leading women and a great crowd.” ULB-EN
& at Berea “Therefore many of them believed, including some influential Greek women and many men.” ULB-EN
Acts 18:8 at Corinth “Crispus, the leader of the synagogue and all of his house believed in the Lord. Many of the Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized.” ULB-EN
