Since we’re all just getting started together, I thought I’d leave this link here at the top to help us out: GETTING STARTED
Jesus said in Matthew 18:19-20, “Moreover I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in their midst.” ULB-EN
I find it very strange how we can see the hand of God, always for us looking backward, but He plans these things. Let me explain: it was immediately after that sermon on July 28th that I felt moved to call us Christian women around the world to pray. I talked with another lady there about coming up with my POWER acronym, thoughts were traveling through my mind, which I started to write down on Aug. 7th. About a week later, I heard an advertisement about a conference where women were planning to gather (as part of that conference) to pray for revival. I had almost given up the idea of doing a blog, but this encouraged me to press on. I wrote my pages then struggled with my limited computer skills to get the blog looking good, so it wasn’t until the hands-on, expert help of a young Christian lady that I was able to move along.
In time, it was looking good, but how Satan likes to put roadblocks in our way to keep us from our labor of love for God; just little things weren’t coming together right so another discouragement, but God sends others to turn that around. Another woman at my church who attended this same conference, actually my neighbor, had also been plotting and planning. She sent out information on August 29th to rally ladies of our church to incorporate revival prayer into our normal prayer life as well as adding a call for Tuesdays. I had originally planned on Wednesday, but, not to over burden others, I changed to Tuesday so many could just do both efforts by joining one. She & I are talking about how we can continue, perhaps feeding off of each other’s efforts.
Then, I finished a book just last night which ended with lots about revival. More on that later.
But, see how God was working all along in individuals when others didn’t know. That so much seems to be applying Matthew 18:19-20 above. I’ve certainly had the feeling of Him in our midst, and of two agreeing. Will you join us? THE CALL
